Tom "Hawk" Minert

Tom has been involved in the motorcycle business for over 30 years.  He started Harley-Davidson of Mason City with his brother Ron in 1972.  When it was decided to open a shop in Charles City, Ron called his brother and asked him to run the show.  Lucky for us, Tom accepted and in 2002, opened Cedar River Harley-Davidson.  He has turned Cedar River into one of the nicest Harley shops in the area.

Nick "Saucy" Franke - Bike Sales

Nick started at Cedar River Harley-Davidson in 2006 and handles new and used vehicle sales.  He brought 10 years of sales experience with him and has completed extensive training to bring him up to speed with all things Harley.  He stopped by the shop looking for a bike and went home with a job!

Bill "Bud" Cleveland - Parts Manager

Bill started at Cedar River Harley-Davidson in 2005 and took charge of the parts and accessories department.  Bill has been around motorcycles since he was just a kid.  Even then, he knew he wanted to be a biker when he grew up.  If you need some chrome for your bike or are building a one of a kind, Bill can help you out.

Teri Pettit - General Merchandise Manager

Teri started Cedar River Harley-Davidson in 2004 and handles all things Harley.  Teri brought over 20 years of retail experience with her.  She makes sure we have a wide selection of clothing and gifts and collectibles for all you Harley lovers.  As you can tell, she has connections at the motor company!

John Berg - Office Manager / F&I

John has been with Cedar River since we opened in 2002 and takes care of the day to day office work and finance & insurance.  He has worked in accounting and finance for over 10 years from a public accounting firm to an Elk Farm.  The motorcycle business is his favorite by far.

Robert "Noot" Nootnagel - Service Manager

Noot joined Cedar River Harley in 2007 as our service manager.  Noot has lived in Charles City all his life and been involved with motorcycles for over 40 years.  He owned his own cycle shop and was the service manager of our Mason City store for several years.  He is well known around town and can be seen cruising on his '65 FLH and '07 Ultra Classic®.

Justin Schweizer - Technician

Justin joined the crew in 2004 and brought with him the knowledge he gained at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando, FL.  He is a certified Harley-Davidson Technician with a specialty in high performance work and Dyno Tuning.

Jerry Sharp - Technician

Jerry was with Superior Sports for many years before Harley-Davidson purchased the building and changed over to all things Harley.  Thankfully, Jerry decided to stick around in the shop.  With decades of motorcycle experience under his belt, Jerry can help you out with all of your service needs.

Tim "Woody" Wood - Technician

Woody joined the service department in 2008 and brings with him experience gained from wrenching the 28 Harley's he's owned over the years.  He currently rides a custom 2007 Street Glide® and 1994 Road King®.

Abe Leisinger - Technician

Abe started in the shop in 2008 and brings with him the knowledge gained at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando, FL.  He is a certified Harley-Davidson Technician, ready to get your bike ready for the road.

Ben Damjanovic - Service Support/Maintenance

Ben has been with us since 2003 and takes care of general maintenance around the shop and helps in the service department.  Ben is a local resident of Charles City and has been around cars and motorcycles all his life.

Jodi "Jo" Minert

Jo is Cedar River Harley's mascot and can be seen wandering the grounds and welcoming customers.  She's a little bigger now and loves greeting everyone that comes in the store, especially kids.
